Started off with a big walk with Jaxson to the camp office. Then shopping for pet cleaning supplies.....LOL More to come........
Day 13 - A Day with Trudy and Gucci
We had a great trip up to Newport Coast with Jaxson. Trudy and I went to her church (Mariner's - a great service and campus of worship) while Bruce "puppy-sat" Jaxson and Gucci in Trudy's beautiful home. After church we all went to have a great lunch at Crystal Cove. Gucci joined us for lunch while J-Dog stayed guarding the "Big-Boy" truck. We also got to tour some gorgeous properties in the Newport Coast Bluff area. After we got back to camp, I was feeling a bit "flu-ish" and Jaxson wasn't feeling well either.....so we all went to bed early and felt much better in the AM.
Trudy's Church - This is the youth building. What a gorgeous campus!

Day 12 - Kickin' It and Football
We pretty much hung out at our camp and then went to the Trolley station area for lunch and window shopping. We filled up with gas for tomorrow's road trip to Newport Coast to visit and go to church with Trudy. Ending the day with more football.....How many bowl games can there really be?

Day 11 - Happy Birthday Bruce
Bruce got his favorite "In-N-Out" for lunch and dinner with family. We had a great time at Shan and Steve's with Al, Matt, Chloe and Dylan, too! Here's a clip from the celebration!
Day 10 - Frost, Starbucks and Dinner with the Spanglers
Woke up to frost on the truck and our table. Continued with our newly developed routine: groceries (if needed), Starbucks, Mast Park and enjoying the beautiful weather at our campsite.
Love this store.....has all of our favorite yogurt! GREEK GODS!
Bruce kickin' with Starbucks!
Di kickin' with Angry Birds!
Bruce and I got together with one of his best buds from college that he hadn't seen in about 35 years. We met for dinner at Dini's by the Sea with Gary and his beautiful wife Lauren. We had a great time. The four of us enjoyed each other's company and a fabulous dinner together.....Thank you Gary and Lauren. It was so much fun, got to see the sunset at Carlsbad where we used to camp by the ocean and rekindled old friendships.

Day 9 - Early Rise, Syllabi, Starbucks, Anny's and Visit
Got up too early, of course it could have been because Bruce went to bed...... HUMMMN..... very early. It is getting earlier and earlier to the "nightie" every night! I finished writing my syllabi this morning for my Spring Semester classes. We got to talk with Bruce's buddy Jim Jillson this afternoon. We revisited one of our hamburger tour locations of 2010 "Anny's Fine Burgers". Still very good and way too much food! I think all we are doing is EATING EATING EATING EATING. We did do a couple of big walks with Jaxson, but still not enough exercise for all the food we are consuming.
WOW...that's a burger!
The Real Deal
Day 8 - Relax, Starbucks, Mast Park and Bowl Games
Our Starbucks of choice...Nearest to our RV Park
Relaxing AM then to Starbucks and Mast Park. We were the only ones in
the park for quite awhile, Jaxson had to "sniff" alone.....everyone must have been recovering from
their New Year's Celebrations (LOL). When it was time for the Rose Bowl
Game we went over to Shan and Steve's for football, food and fun with
the "kids". Allison was getting her new car. They got a new Ford
Explorer.....WOW.....a really great vehicle...so many whistles and bells
in the newest cars these days. They need to come with educational
courses. Came back home and watched the House vote and then went
"nighty night"!
McGee's newest member of the family......WOW!
Shan is loving the new Explorer!
Day 7 - Mast Park, Mexican Food and New Year Celebration
Today was fun for all! Jaxson got his wish to go run, so we went to "Mast Park" very close to our campsite. When we got there he met lots of new friends. They all ran and played very hard.
After watching the very sad USC performance, we went to Shan and Steve's to go with the kids to Emilianos where we met "the most interesting man in the world" (LOL) before our celebration to ring in the New Year! Allison's crew looked fabulous on their way out to "the Air-Conditioned Lounge". We made a lot of noise just before everyone bedded down to end 2012! Hope you all had a great night!

Day 6 - McGee's New Home, Mexican Food Brunch and Rain
Easy going AM today. We met at Shan and Steve's to make the move up to Al and Matt's new home. WOW! it is so fabulous...the greatest back yard to go along with the rest of the beautiful home. Check out this link, they are on the landscape design company's advertizing page. http://www.ecomindedsolutions.com/4s-ranch-pool-hardscape-design/
Bruce was challenged by Dylan to a Madden NFL 13 football game. I got to duet a bit with Chloe on her piano. They are both really talented in all that they do. Shan and Steve took us to Miguel's Cocina in Rancho Bernardo. OH MY! So much food (I had to take 1/2 of mine home). Awesome grilled Swordfish Tacos and a Queso to die for. Thank you Shan and Stevie!
Started to rain and big winds as we got back to the RV Park. Jaxson was happy to get out to go potty just before the rain.....LOL!

Day 5 - Lazy morning, In-N-Out and Rain
Beautiful Morning at our site!
Had a great relaxing AM, then got to Shan and Steve's just in time to
watch them finish their decoration removal..... they were working super
hard and deserved In-N-Out, for sure! After we watched a little
football and worked a bit on Shan's computer it started to rain.... Oh No
memories of two years ago when it rained for 10 days straight. We
decided to stay in after we got to the RV (rain and wet roads)..... July
13th is still in our psyche a bit.....
New Santee In-N-Out
YUMMMM!
Rain on the "52"
Day 4 - Left Palm Springs.....Arrived at Santee Lakes RV Park
Took advantage of the AM with Denny and Jill on their patio....Beautiful weather, both in Palm Springs and then when we got to Santee. We set up the RV for our stay and went out to try a local Mexican Food Establishment (pretty good hole in the wall) on our way to the grocery store.
Just off the 3rd tee!
"We had great fun, huh, Ginger?"

Estrada's...good fish and rolled tacos.
Day 3 - Great Day in Palm Springs
We took the "pups" to the dog
park. They, of course, used their great social skills and had a fun time with new friends.
The weather is so beautiful. Of course, we had to stop at Starbucks with Jill, our coffee buddy. In the evening we went to one of Denny and Jill's favorite Italian restaurants for dinner. They even
had "gluten free" for Jill. NICE! EXCELLENT FOOD! We did watch the Holiday Bowl.....Very One-sided game, for sure. UCLA didn't even show up.
Getting ready to go to the "Dog Park"
People socialize, too!

WOW!....can't believe it will be 2013....
Day 2 - All the way to Palm Springs
It was so early in the day to stop in AZ for the night, so we decided just to go all the way to Palm Springs. Took about a half and hour just to try and get gas in AZ .....No luck.....ended up getting gas at the higher price in CA, but no lines......LOL!
We are going to stay in the same RV Park with Dennis, Jill and GINGER (Jaxson's new cousin)
What a gorgeous place. I think we could live here at least during the winter months, so beautiful!
Beautiful Ms. Ginger!
Day 1 - Christmas in Peoria
We had a great time at Kimmie's for brunch! Got to spend some time
together with Mom, Caiters, Tom, Kimmie and Eric. WOW, as usual we ate
so much and it was all soooooooo good!
