Bruce's cholesterol pills have now officially started the rejection process........

....they are screaming UNCLE!!!!!! We are done with the saturated fat emulsions as of today......we can't take it anymore.

The Simvastatin has NO CHANCE!

HUGE Burgers.....about 6th....we will have to rest a while to compile the final list....fries not that great. What a menu.....another amazing variety of burgers.

Great day, hoping that the RAIN will END!

Well we made it to the "Burger Lounge". The trip was wet but well worth it..we meet Trudy and her friend Rich there in LaJolla.  I look forward to seeing Trudy every Christmas!  We had so much fun talking about the "good ole' days".

The interior and the menu.

The presentation of the meal was excellent.  Great egg buns with very thin patties.  The shop was very small with only enough seats for about 10 customers.  We lucked out and all four of us got to sit together. We had a great time, but looking forward to being able to spend more time together on our next visit.

Cold and RAINY!!!!!!

A cold, cloudy, windy and rainy day here in beautiful San Diego.
We decided to use the trolley today to go to Fashion Valley and
find the hamburger of the day.








Fashion Valley wasn't even hustling and bustling especially considering it is the Monday before Christmas....... strange.  The Apple Store on the other hand was PACKED.




SmashBurger was at the Hazard Center, so we gave it a try.
Bruce rates it 4th for the hamburger and 2nd on the fries.

The Loch-Ness Monster's Hamburger Joint "Nessy's"

It was quite a drive, but well worth it.  Shan and Steve helped us indulge on this one......
WHEW! huge burger! Nessy inspired, no doubt!
Probably rating 3rd on the Burger and 4th or 5th on the Crinkle Fries.

Day 3......PB at Rocky's

.....took us to PB and Rocky's Crown Pub.  Close to where Bruce played his first football game at Crown Point Elementary......It is the game that got him HOOKED 

and began to live and breathe football.  

Great hamburger!  Fries OK.....Sports Bar Atmosphere....

Day 2 took us to FIVE GUYS.....Fresh hamburger, much like Fuddruckers.
The fries were the best, lots of skin and nice and crispy.
